because we are americans and we are too stubborn to convert to a system that we believe is not as good as our own (and yes we have tried in the past....I remember when I was in 6th grade ---uhm that was the late 70's --and they said we were changing over to metric and we had to learn the whole dumb system.....weeeelllllll....that didnt last very long and here we are about 30 years later and still no metric). and for the record I am 170cm tall (I had physical exams while I worked in japan.... I know my weight too, but that has changed since I lived there).

Why doesnt the rest of the world just learn the us measurement system??? I mean everyone is learning english anyways.....

t'wasnt me..... my favorite dish....I cant pick just ONE....so lets go with a meal.

appetiser-that would be steak tartar
soup probably cream of something like tomato
salad bleh---but a good dressing is blue cheese
pasta---cheese tortilini or ravioli with grongozola sauce.
main course---uhm sushi!
dessert ugh....my moms cherry bell cookies, and decandant chocolate cake,

dang now I am hungry.

Whats for lunch?????

yep, lots of times.....did most of japan that way....get off train start walking to place marked on map---find that map and real world arent the same

get lost for hours......cant ask directions since the locals as scared as heck of foreigners.....finally figure out what the map did wrong ...

and I come from a long line of people who can get lost in a paper bag with the light shining the way out--->
